Wildlife
Since completion, the lake has been maturing with the marginal reeds thickening and the islands and banks starting to thicken with vegitation. As the environment has become more established an ever increasing list of wildlife has moved in. Hopefully we will increase this page with photos and accounts of the flora and fauna as anglers report new sightings. At the time of writing (1st May 2009) I can report the following: Swallows, Goldfinches, Chaffinches, Heron, Snowy Egret, Greylag Geese, Buzzard, Magpie, Pheasant, Robin, Blue Tit, Rabbit, Squirrel, Fox, Bats, Grass Snakes,Mallard Ducks, Canada Geese, Swans, Moorhens,Cuckhoo, Wood Pigeon, Crows, Song Thrush and Badger the dog!
